Suspect: Black male 25-35 years of age, black dreadlocks, 5-10 to 6-0 tall, 170-190lbs., blue tshirt, gray baseball cap ; Black male short or shaved hair, 20-30 years of age 5-10 to 6-1, 180-200lbs, green tshirt, dark pants


On July 24th, 2017 at approximately 0050 hours, Sparks Police Officers responded to Prater Way at 15th Street on the report of an armed robbery. Officers met with the male victim, who advised that he had been inside the 711 at 600 15th Street, when he was approached by the two suspects. When he walked outside with the suspects, one of them pulled out a handgun and demanded the victim give them his bicycle. The victim escaped back inside the 711, however the suspects fled with the victim’s green “SE” mountain bike. The victim was not injured.

Surveillance video showed the suspects with the victim and the incident. The Sparks Police Department is asking for help in identifying the suspects of the robbery. Anyone with information on the suspect’s identities is urged to contact the Sparks Police Department Division at 353-2225 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
