Fatal Traffic Accident

On 10/06/20 at approximately 5:24pm, Sparks Police, Sparks Fire, and REMSA responded to the report of a vehicle versus motorcycle traffic accident at the intersection of Oddie Blvd. and Sullivan Lane in Sparks. It was determined a motorcycle traveling eastbound on Oddie Blvd struck a blue vehicle turning southbound on Sullivan Lane. The 24-year-old male of the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. Sparks Police was later notified the 24-year-old male passed away from his injuries. The driver of the blue vehicle remained on scene of the crash and is cooperating with the investigation. 


Members of the Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) responded to the scene and took over the investigation which remains active.
