Hit and Run

On 10-04-19, at about 6:10 pm, Sparks Police Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of East York at Patrice Drive for a motorcyclist down. When Officers arrived they found a 71 year old male still on the ground. The male was transported to Renown and sustained several injuries. The severity of the injuries is unknown at this time. Officers learned from witnesses that a mid 2000s white sedan made a U-Turn from Patrice Drive onto E. York. The motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on York Way and struck the drivers side of the white sedan.


The suspect vehicle (white sedan) left the area without stopping to help or report the injured motorcyclist. The Sparks Police Department is looking for the publics assistance in identifying the suspect and suspect vehicle. The suspect was described as a younger Hispanic or Indian female with shoulder length dark brown or black hair.  If you know who is responsible or have information please call  the Sparks Police Department or Secret Witness.
