On May 8th, 2017 Quentin Johnson, a 52-year-old male and Ron Haigwood, a 48-year-old male were reported missing to the Sparks Police Department filed under SPD case 17-3969 (Haigwood) and 17-3975 (Johnson).  Haigwood had last communicated with family on April 23rd, 2017 and Johnson with a friend on April 24th, 2017.  Haigwood and Johnson are friends and believed to be together. 

On May 12th, 2017, the Pyramid Lake Police Department found Johnson’s truck, and empty boat trailer at Pyramid Lake.  The Pyramid Lake Police Department has done a shoreline search and the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue has done a search by helicopter.  Neither search produced results. A fixed wing aircraft search is being organized to attempt to locate the missing men.

Haigwood is described as a white male adult, 5-11, 220 lbs, bald, brown eyes, with a mustache and goatee.  He has a piercing on his left ear and multiple tattoos.

Johnson is described as a 6-03, 180 lbs, grey hair and green eyes.

Johnson’s boat is a 1988, white and blue, 23 foot, Nordic with Arizona registration 8679AG.

Haigwood and Johnson had cell phones.  Investigators are working to see if any information can be used to assist in locating Haigwood or Johnson.
