Multiple Felonies Arrest

On July 21, 2020 at approximately 2140 hours detectives with the Regional Crime Suppression Unit observed the wanted subject Caison Dillon at a local business. Dillon was known to have warrants out for his arrest for charges including Possession of Firearm by a Prohibited Person, Grand Larceny of an Automobile and Trafficking in a Controlled Substance. He was also wanted for the charges of Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle and Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses stemming from a separate incident.


Detectives attempted to contact Dillon as he got into an associated vehicle. Dillon quickly backed into a detective’s vehicle before pulling onto the walkway directly in front of the business doors. Dillon continued driving on the walkway for a very short distance before striking the outer wall of the open business and another uninvolved vehicle parked in front of the business as well. The vehicle was occupied by an uninvolved female and her two year old child.


The crash rendered Dillon’s vehicle inoperable at which he point he fled on foot before being apprehended a short distance away by detectives.


Medics responded to the scene and treated the occupants of the uninvolved vehicle and screened Dillon as well. Deputies from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and separately investigated the accident caused by Dillon.


Dillon was arrested for his outstanding wants and warrants and was additionally charged with Obstructing and Resisting, Possession of the Credit Card of Another, Possession of a Controlled Substance—Methamphetamine and Possession of a Controlled Substance—Heroin.
