Scam Warning

The Sparks Police Department has received several calls from concerned citizens who have reportedly received a phone call from someone impersonating a Sparks Police Officer. The person advises that the citizen has an unpaid ticket and demands payment.

Calls of this nature are a scam. The Sparks Police Department does not seek payments for citations over the phone.

In the event that you receive a similar call, do not provide any financial, personal, or identifying information over the phone.
